    Backwoods Seasoning

Have any of you ever used the pre-mixed Backwoods seasoning packets for making your sausage?

I bought my grinder. My stuffer attachment is on the way. I am trying to figure out which type of sausage I want to make first. I am thinking of doing a Bratwurst and while Google searching for recipes, I came across the Backwoods pre-mixed seasonings. Just looking for any input.

Generally the pre-mixed stuff is expensive. Lots of recipes on the net. It really comes down to what tastes good to you and yours. I have used Leggs mixes and built on those. They are very reasonable from Columbia Spices. Kevin does a very good job with his customer service. http://columbiaspice.com/index.html
